Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb of Cattaraugus county gave a powerful and emotional presentation about the reality of PTSD. He discussed how to prepare, protect and treat the expected exposure to trauma.

Partners for Prevention (P4P) is dedicated to reducing substance abuse among Wyoming County youth. We are a prevention program sponsored by the Mental Health Department and funded by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) along with Wyoming County. Most importantly, we are a coalition of caring individuals who are devoted to the health and well-being of our children, families, schools, and communities.
DeAnna Croteau from Cornell University, Cooperative Extension Livingston County gave a great talk about what is trauma and the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
