Who We Are

Partners for Prevention (P4P) is dedicated to reducing substance abuse among Wyoming County youth.  We are a prevention program sponsored by the Mental Health Department and funded by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) along with Wyoming County.  Most importantly, we are a coalition of caring individuals who are devoted to the health and well-being of our children, families, schools, and communities.

Our September Coalition Meeting included a presentation by John Bennett, of Kids Escaping Drugs, who discussed current drug trends among youth. Afterwards, two youth from the Renaissance House treatment program shared the very moving events leading up to their addictions and recovery. Please visit them at https://ked.org/face-2-face/ for more information about hosting one of these free events!
